中國文化大學國際專修部獎助學金辦法

第一條
中國文化大學為加速國際化之腳步，鼓勵優秀僑外學生於國際專修部研習華文、培養中文能力，並能順利於第二年銜接至專業系所，另幫助經濟困難學生順利完成學業，訂定「中國文化大學國際專修部獎助學金辦法」(以下簡稱本辦法)。
第二條 申請資格
一、第一年華語先修課程應達下列條件，得以獲得：
(一)申請就讀本校國際專修部「1+4年」華語先修課程，通過TOCFL Level 2 基礎級(A2級)後銜接入重點產業領域相關系所就讀學士班，且行為表現無不良紀錄者。
(二)單月缺課時數不得超過十八小時以上(因重大疾病或意外事故請假者，不在此限)。
二、第二年至第四年學期學業平均成績應達下列標準，始得續領獎學金：
(一)當學期學業平均須達70分以上，操行成績80分以上。
(二)修讀正式學位第一年結束前，須通過華文能力TOCFL Level 3進階級(B1 級)以上，且行為表現無不良紀錄者。
(三)當學期缺課狀況不得達全學期時數5分之1。
三、學生需每學期完成至少60小時之服務學習，於學期結束前將服務檢核表交給國際暨兩岸事務處，方可獲得下一學期及寒暑假住宿費減免。
第三條 補助方式
一、學生就讀華語先修課程及大學4年期間，每學期及寒、暑假住宿費全額減免。
二、專修部華語學習結束並符合申請條件者，就讀大學期間，第二年可獲30%學雜費減免，第三年可獲30%學雜費減免，第四年可獲20%學雜費減免。
三、學生在學期間可申請學伴獎學金，依照本校國際暨兩岸事務處境外生學伴獎學金要點辦理。
第四條 審查程序
每學期結束前，由國際暨兩岸事務處會同華語中心或系所老師審查後，提出推薦獲獎學生及金額，簽請校長核定。
第五條
本辦法經行政會議通過後實施，修正時亦同。

I. Objective:
Chinese Culture University established the following guidelines in an effort to encourage outstanding international students (including overseas Chinese students) to improve their Chinese language proficiency while undertaking the International Foundation Program so as to continue their academic studies in the second year and to provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged students towards the completion of the program.
II. Eligibility
1. Students who have completed the first-year Chinese courses and met the following criteria would be awarded with a scholarship:
(1) Students have been admitted to the “1+4” Chinese courses and passed the TOCFL level 2 (A2) to continue their academic studies in relevant departments. Such students shall have no records of misbehaviors.
(2) Students have taken leaves of less than 18 hours per month (absences due to major diseases or accidents excluded).
2. Recipients of the scholarship who are studying for the second to the fourth year of the program will be granted renewal when they meet the following criteria:
(1) Recipients should achieve a GPA of 70 or above and a Student Conduct Grade of 80 or above for each semester.
(2) Recipients must pass the TOCFL level 3 (B1). Such students shall have no records of misbehaviors.
(3) The total hours of absence must not exceed one-fifth of the total course hours in each semester.
3. Recipients of the scholarship must provide 60 hours of service to the school. Records of service must be made and sent to the Office of International and Mainland China Affairs in order to get accommodation fee wavier.
III. Scholarship Description:
1. Recipients of scholarships are awarded a full waiver of accommodation fees for the semester, winter, and summer breaks during the first year of Chinese learning and four years of academic studies.
2. Recipients who complete Chinese courses and are admitted to study in the academic studies could get 30% deduction of the tuition fees when studying for the second year, 30% deduction of the tuition fees when studying for the third year, and 20% deduction of the tuition fees when studying for the fourth year.
3. Students at CCU International Foundation Program could apply for the Buddy Program and be awarded a scholarship according to relevant regulations.
VI. Application Review Procedures:
The Office of International and Mainland China Affairs will review the applications with professors in the relevant departments and the instructors in the Mandarin Chinese Center to decide the nominated recipients and the amount of money for the scholarships. The nominations must be approved by the President.
V. The guidelines shall be approved by the President prior to implementation. Any amendments shall be processed accordingly.
