In response to the current COVID-19 situation and the policy of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Acting President Wang of CCU convened the administration meeting on April 27, which passed the following resolutions:

  1. The school continues to follow the latest guidelines announced by MoE to adjust the way classes are conducted. Because some students or teachers were identified as “confirmed cases” of “close contact,” their classes were switched to remote instruction. These classes will maintain remote teaching until May 22. Teachers should not switch their instruction to in-person instruction.
  2. The Office of Academic Affairs updates the instruction modes of each class at 6 p.m. every day. Please check the latest information on the school academic system.
  3. For classes with 80 and more students or classrooms that are not well-ventilated, teachers could switch classes to a remote or hybrid instruction with the agreement of students.
  4. To avoid the risk of cluster infection, the school has canceled the scheduled final examination. Teachers decide how and when the final examination will be held as needed.
  5. During in-person classes, the school urges all teachers and students to wear a mask at all times in class and practice preventive measures. Teachers need to take photos to record students’ attendance for contact tracing. https://ap2.pccu.edu.tw/pccupost/post/content.asp?NUM=2022421181058393
  6. The large-scale activities held by the school will proceed as scheduled. Activities organizers should urge participants to practice preventive measures.
  7. The CCU Pandemic Prevention Response Team has been renamed as CCU Pandemic Prevention Task Force. The name of its meeting is changed as well.
