Q1. Who can apply?

A: All degree students of CCU and currently enrolled can apply for exchange (graduates excluded). Students who have applied to delay graduation are eligible to apply for exchange under certain conditions determined by the partner universities.

Students could participate in the exchange programs more than once, but they could only visit one school at a time, and need to file an application each time.

Q2. I am not a Taiwan national, can I apply?

A: Yes, all the students enrolled in CCU are eligible for the exchange programs offered by our partner schools.

Q3. How long are the exchange programs?

A: Students can choose to participate in a program for a semester or one year.

Q4. I didn’t meet the requirement of the Graduation Threshold for English. Can I still apply for the exchange program?

A: Yes, but please note that all the partner universities have different language requirements. Students need to meet the requirements for the university they plan to apply.

Q5. What if I would like to exchange at a university that is not a partner university of CCU?

A: No. This office assists students to exchange in our partner universities only. Some departments of CCU have worked with certain universities, which offer exchange opportunities. Students could contact these departments.

Q6. Could students exchange in a department that is not their major in CCU?

A: Most of the partner universities offer students to exchange in any department they like to study in, except for some special cases.

Q7: How do I know if the school I exchange has the courses I would like to take?

A: Students need to visit the website of the partner schools and plan the courses they want to take.
